5 STEPS TO SUCCESS
Every company is unique and every workplace has different requirements, so our goal is to ensure we design and deliver a workplace that really works for you and helps to realise your full business potential. The following steps in our process allow us to provide as much design advice and project management as needed for each project.
THE BRIEF
One of our team members will meet with the client to establish the project parameters. A company can provide a brief for the Fuze team to work on or can collaborate with the team to develop a brief that will suit the needs of the client and their workplace strategy. At this stage we are able to provide a site feasibility analysis for clients who are looking at acquiring a new space and need to determine if the environment will meet all of their individual company needs. Our team is skilled at assessing different work spaces and how they will affect a company’s working environment. We like to discuss a client’s work patterns and company strategy to ensure that the project outcomes meet the goals and objectives of the company.
CONCEPT DESIGN & SPACE PLANNING
Once the brief has been approved, the team will go away and begin work on the project. Using the brief parameters a space plan is drawn up. The space plan can include collaborative spaces, open plan office spaces, quiet spaces, break-out spaces or meeting spaces. A concept is designed that works in conjunction with the space plan. We can develop a design that either works with a company branding, helping to establish a strong corporate identity or help to create a company brand from scratch. We can also create a design that moves away from a company’s branding and fosters more of an environment that the company is wanting to achieve with their brief. This can be a very fluid process with the Fuze team collaborating closely with the client.
CONCEPT DEVELOPMENT
This stage allows for the Concept to be fully formed and detailed. The Fuze team begin with furniture sourcing, as well as the specification of any other fittings or finishes in the space. Each element is carefully chosen to ensure that the links are maintained with the original concept and helps provide a cohesive design. Fuze is an exclusive agent for some beautiful European furniture, but also has a wide network of local and international suppliers. We are able to source product from all over the world to meet design and as well as budget parameters. If we are working on a full design fit out our team will begin to look at requirements for resource and building consent.
WORKING DRAWINGS & TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION
Your space is brought to life through 3D visualisations so you can get a real sense of what your new office will look like. In addition, detailed technical drawings are required for custom designed furniture and resource and building consent. We provide full, comprehensive drawings and advise on practical application of your design.
INSTALL & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
The Fuze team can fully project manage your fit out from the briefing stage through to implementation and install. We have a number of specialized team members that work together to ensure that you gain the benefit of over 30 years’ worth of industry experience and end up with a project that is installed on time and within budget.
