JUCY Rental Office Fit-Out

JUCY Rentals wanted its new Auckland CBD workplace to express the energy and personality of its brand while supporting the practical needs of a growing team. Fuze developed the full interior design concept and space plan, translating JUCY’s connection with travel and New Zealand into a distinctive, functional working environment.

The existing double-height space provided a strong architectural foundation, with exposed beams, polished concrete and raw brick walls incorporated into the design. Rather than competing with these features, the concept used them to reinforce the sense of exploration and character associated with the JUCY brand.

A range of work settings was created to support different activities and working styles. The open-plan office included both fixed-height and height-adjustable desks, while custom-printed desk screens featured imagery inspired by New Zealand’s landscapes, from East Coast beaches to the mountains of the South Island. Integrated planters introduced greenery throughout the workplace, with lighting used to add depth and definition.

At the centre of the office, a green pathway leads to an informal collaboration area inspired by a New Zealand holiday park. A tree-stump feature, swings and a large tōtara mural transform the space into a memorable meeting point for the team.

The workplace also incorporates “Lovely Rita”, a repurposed retro caravan converted into an enclosed meeting room. It provides privacy within the open-plan environment while creating a distinctive focal point that feels unmistakably JUCY.

The completed office fit-out brings together brand, workplace function and architectural character, creating an environment with dedicated spaces for focused work, collaboration and private meetings.
